The Center for Ecological-Noosphere studies has begun the development of the remote sensing methods of the assessment of the water quality of Lake Sevan. Taking into account some difficulties of interpretation of satellite images (cloudiness, noises and distortions, which decreases the quantity of usable images) it is proposed to develop a method of the assessment of the ecological state of mountainous lakes (a case: Lake Sevan) using UAV-born very high spatial resolution images. Collating
in-situ and remote sensing data the interpretation and classification models of the assessment of turbidity (TSS and NTU) and temperature will be upgraded. Also, the spatial-temporal databases of thematic layers and the spatial data infrastructure of the geospatial data visualization, storage and sharing will be updated.
