Sh. Asmaryan participated in the 60th meeting of the Executive Committee of the World Earth Survey Group held in Geneva.

On March 21-24, Deputy Director for Science of CENS  and Head of GIS and Remote Sensing Department Dr. Shushanik Asmaryan participated in the 60th meeting of the Executive Committee of Group on Earth Observations (GEO) organized in Geneva, Switzerland, during which the results of the work of globally responsible organizations and countries in the field of remote sensing technology development and the existing problems of their implementation in the field of decision-making and the possibilities of participating countries in solving them were discussed.

During the meeting, an acquaintance was established in the direction of obtaining the expected hyperspectral photos from the Italian PRISMA satellite and an agreement was reached on cooperation. An agreement was also reached with a representative of the Peru Earth Survey World Group on studying the experience of Latin American countries and cooperation.
