Abstract
The article highlights the results of monitoring of heavy metal pollution of vegetable species grown in orchards and home-gardens on Yerevan’s territory. As found out, soils and vegetables are polluted with Ni, Mn, Cu, Pb, Zn. We have singled out strongly polluted sites in which the element concentration exceed manifold MPC have been revealed, carried out zoning, and produced a map of heavy metal pollution of vegetable species cultivated in Yerevan.
